On behalf of Friends of the Earth Europe, Earthworks, Stop the Frack Attack, Food&Water Watch and Attac France, we are contacting you to share more information concerning the “International Anti-Fracking Summit – Not Here, Not Anywhere” that we will organise in Paris on December 10th and for which you mentioned your intention to participate on this list: http://bit.ly/COP21Frack
While the recent terrorist attacks will push the French authorities to reinforce security measures and might limit outside actions, it should normally not affect indoor events. We are therefore more determined than ever to organise this great internal gathering which is about to bring together more than 130 anti-fracking activists from 40 different countries and 5 continents. We hope you will all be there with us.
Concerning the event, we finally now have more information to share with you:
- It will start at 8.30 and will finish at 18.30.
- It will take place at the “AGECA” (177 rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris). It is very easily accessible, notably by metro (metro Alexandre Dumas).
- Translation French/English & English/French will be provided most of the day.
- Food and drinks will be provided for breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks, within the limits of available stock.
- We are inviting you to prepare posters and bring materials (pictures, documents, etc.) that you will have opportunities to present during a small anti-fracking fair during the long lunch break.
